Single-channel ECG Monitor EF1800 is a portable, easy-to-use ECG monitor that can record and store the ECG measurement of your heart rhythm. Its detection principle is the same as the electrocardiograph used in hospitals. The EF1800 provides effective detecting means for heart disease patients and sub-health people to prevent heart disease. The unit can also assist the doctor to make early diagnosis.

This unit can provide four measurement methods; the user can select one of them to take measurement according to the requirement.
Measurement on Hand
Hold the unit with your right hand. Put right index finger on the right electrodes, and place the left electrode on your left palm.
Note: The hands should not touch each other when measuring.
Hold the unit with your right hand. Put right index finger on the right electrodes, and place the left electrode on the intersection of the left midclavicular line and the 5th rib. The position of the left electrode can refer to the follow diagrams. If you are unsure, please consult your doctor.
Male：Place the left electrode on bare skin about 5 cm below your left nipple.

Female：Locate the EF1800 at the lower end of the breastbone and move horizontally to the left to the middle of the part of the chest, If necessary, gently lift the breast and place the left electrode under the left breast. If the left electrode comes in contact with the brassiere, please remove it, and make sure the electrode contact with the breast directly. If you are unsure, please consult your doctor.

Hold the unit with your right hand. Put right index finger on the right electrodes, and place the left electrode on the inner of the ankle.

（2）Put the lead wires into the lead wires socket. Put the disposable ECG electrodes on the right positions, and then connect the lead wires to the disposable ECG electrodes. (The position of the electrodes can refer to the following diagrams)
Positions of the electrodes of the lead wires:
Red (-) electrode----The intersection of the Right Midclavicular Line and the second rib
Black (N) electrode----The Right Midclavicular Line and the Xiphoid level
Lead wires should be used with the ECG electrode which is disposable, when measuring with lead wires. Disposable ECG electrode has the advantages of easy to use, paste firmly, not easy to happen the cross-infection and so on. But in order to ensure that the unit obtains better ECG information when use it, attention should be paid to the following problems:
- Should keep the paste position cleaning before using the disposable ECG electrode, user should wipe the paste position with the cotton swab or disinfectant alcohol. If the skin is dirty or the stratum corneum is too thick, it may lead to resistance increases, current decreases, and then the occurrence of adverse conduction.
- Accurately paste the electrodes on the part, paste should be gently pressed, to ensure that the conductive pressure-sensitive adhesive in the center of the electrodes close to the skin.
- After the disposable ECG electrode are teared out from the skin, it can not be used again. Otherwise, it may cause the measurement result is inaccurate or the ECG information can not be detected.
- The time of disposable ECG electrode pasting on the skin should not exceed 24 hours. If the time exceeds the period, user should tear out or replace the disposable ECG electrode in time, so as to avoid the detected signal is adverse or the skin allergy.
Notes：When you want to buy the disposable ECG electrode, please go to the normal pharmacy (it must also sell the medical equipment) or manufactures. Please pay your attention to its manufacturing license and product register when buying the disposable ECG electrode.
